FreeMotion Exercise Bike Review

FreeMotion is the commercial fitness equipment division of Icon Health and Fitness, makers of NordicTrack, Proform, Healthrider, Freemotion Brand LogoReebok and other popular brands and is the largest fitness equipment manufacturer in the world.

The Freemotion brand includes very high-end (expensive) Fitness BIkes that are generally sold to fitness centers and businesses. You can purchase some of these high-end models directly online from FreeformFittness.com also.

You may have noticed the older FreeMotion logo (to the right) Old FreeMotion Logo~ with it's familiar squiggle ~ in your fitness club, gym or even on fitness apparel.

Freemotion CoachbikeThe commercial grade in-home fitness bikes that are now offered by FreeMotion Fitness include the Coachbike Indoor Cycle, 2 Recumbents and 2 Uprights.

Freemotion also sells some mid-range and low-end models which you can usually find at Amazon and Wal-Mart.These models are also sold by Icon Health and Fitness,

Comfort, Quality and All the Extras

FreeMotion Stationary Bikes are comfortable, easy to adjust and to use and give you all the features and quality that you expect from a high-end fitness product

What really stands out with these fitness bikes though ~ particularly the commercial models ~ are the electronics and motivational features that are just not available on most other fitness bikes (commercial or residential models, with the exception of the other Icon brands).  Freemotion Recumbent

The main motivational feature on Freemotion Bikes is iFit.

The current iFit Technology just goes to a completely different level. The current iFit options still control the resistance of the fitness bike but also includes Virtual Classes with Trainers, Destination Workouts, Google Maps routes and workouts in addition to adjusting the incline of some bikes (Studio Cycle models).

About-Bicycles Brand Review - FreeMotion

Most FreeMotion Exercise Bikes ~ the commercial models ~ are designed for for long hours of commercial use by multiple users and will usually be too expensive for a typical in-home fitness room.

If you are looking for commercial or light commercial fitness equipment, however, the FreeMotion products have quite a few features and options not found with other brands. I would suggest contacting a representative of FreeMotion for more detailed information on their commercial products and capabilities.

Fortunately, FreeMotion also offers some in-home Recumbent and Indoor Cycle models that can be purchased at very reasonable prices. Actually, considering this brand's quality and reputation these bikes are really cheap.

I have personally ridden and tested FreeMotion Recumbent Bikes and I have found them to be comfortable, easy to use and very good quality. I would recommend FreeMotion In-Home Recumbents when you are looking for a mid-range to high-end Recumbent at a very reasonable price.
