Electra makes high quality bikes and e-bikes at very reasonable prices. Also keep in mind that Electra is an American company with a good reputation and was recently purchased by Trek (another reputable American company). Yes, I know that most bikes and bike components are made in Asia,but the the company that engineers and designs the bikes and e-bikes are in the USA.

Many high quality bicycle manufacturers, like Trek, will not sell their bikes in mass distribution stores or on the internet limiting your selections to the local bike shops available in your area. Fortunately, REI is an authorized Electra dealer and they have stores throughout the US giving you the option to shop online, select your bike, model, components and pick up the bike at a local store.

The Electra Townie-Go is a comfortable and reasonably priced Electric BIke that is good for trips around town, commuting and long distance rides..

Trek and Electra traditional bikes and now Electric BIkes are excellent quality have had great designs for years. Electra Electric Bikes are a little more expensive than some of the most economical brands but you will get what you pay for.

I would highly recommend the Electra Townie-Go for a  high quality, practical and reasonable priced E-Bike.
