Garmin Edge 200 GPS Bike Computer Review
Keeping it Simple
Although the Garmin Edge 200 is the most affordable GPS bike computer, from Garmin, this bike computer is easy to use, wireless ~ of course ~ and still gives you many features that you can not get on traditional wheel-magnet based bike computers. 
This is not to say that you will get everything... and more that you could get on the higher end non-GPS bike computers, only that there are many features that GPS units, like the Edge 200, have that are just not possible to have on wheel-magnet bike computers (like the ability to upload and then map your ride data after your ride).
Although some of the more expensive magnet based bike computers have the ability to upload your ride data to you home computer for analysis and tracking, the upload and download functions are more common and more standard on GPS enabled bike computers.

What You Get ~ and Don't Get ~ with the Garmin Edge 200
Rather than getting into every feature that you get with the Garmin Edge 200 and with the other Garmin Edge bike computers, I would like to summarize the key features that you get with the Edge 200, the features that you don't get and the features that are available on the higher end Garmin Edge units and some non-GPS bike computers.
What You Get is the least expensive and most easy to use Garmin Edge GPS enabled bike computer that gives you: current speed, trip time, trip distance, average speed, total ascent, calories, lap time, lap distance, GPS based altimeter, the auto lap feature, alerts and limited courses.
You also get the option to upload your ride data to Garmin Connect and other websites to track and analyze your exact ride and each part of your ride (laps).
What You Don't Get is the option to add a heart-rate monitor or cadence sensor, the more accurate barometric altimeter and you will not have the touch-screen feature. All of these features can be found on the more expensive wheel-magnet based bike computers and on the high-end Garmin GPS based bike computers.
The additional features that are found on the Garmin Edge 500 that the Edge 200 does not have include customizable screens with more fields, the barometric altimeter, the option to add a heart-rate monitor and/or cadence sensor.
The additional features that are found on the Garmin Edge 800 that the Edge 500 and the Edge 200 do not have are the touch-screen feature, maps and navigation and memory card access.
Garmin Edge 200 Review
When you are looking for a small, light weight, easy to use GPS enabled bike computer at a reasonable price the Garmin Edge 200 is an excellent choice. Keep in mind though that there are some key cycle computer features that the Edge 200 does not have.
The ease of use and super easy setup are a definite plus for this unit. When you compare it to other non-GPS bike computers keep in mind that the Edge 200 has a rechargeable battery that you will need to charge after a specific number of rides compared to non-GPS based units that use regular batteries that will usually last most of the riding season and possibly longer.
The Ride History, Tracking and Review Software is also a big advantage that the Edge 200 gives you that traditional wheel-magnet based bike computers do not have. If you don't need the HR monitor or cadence sensor then the ride history and tracking are most likely the main reason to choose this unit.
The biggest disadvantages that I found with the Edge 200 is that there is no option to connect a heart-rate monitor or cadence sensor, you can not customize the screens ~ like you can on the Edge 500 and Edge 800 ~ and you do not get nearly as many data fields (ride stats) as you do with the higher end units.

Most of the customer reviews that I have read on the Garmin Edge 200 have been mixed but mostly positive.
