Diamondback 910IC Indoor Cycle Review

When it comes to Indoor Cycles Diamondback has an innovative design and some unique features but even the best design and nicest features aren't worth much if there are problems with the bike when you receive it, if it breaks down after a short time and/or if you have problems with parts or customer service issues. Diamondback 910IC Indoor Cycle

The Diamondback 910IC Indoor Cycle uses computer-controlled resistance from the bike's console giving you easy access and more precise and accurate resistance levels and workout feedback.

The 910IC also has more advanced features than the Diamondback 510IC (Diamondback's entry level Indoor Cycle) such as a wireless heart rate monitor, more resistance levels, workout programs and a heavier flywheel.

Unfortunately, the 910IC has been known to have quality issues (on delivery), mechanical issues and problems with the electronic console, which can make the bike inoperable. Until these issues are resolved, I can not recommend the Diamondback 910IC.

Note: The Diamondback 910IC Indoor Cycle is currently unavailable (was selling directly from Amazon for $995 (new)). Click on the link above for the availability, price, more information or additional customer reviews on the Diamondback 910IC. *

Although the Diamondback warranty sounds good on this bike, the warranty on the frame is "Limited Lifetime" warranty which states that there are exclusions but the exclusions are not specified. The rest of the warranty is average but warranties are only as good as the customer service department that backs them up and there have been some complaints in this area.

About-Bicycles Review

The Diamondback 910IC has some nice features such as the computer-controlled resistance, the self-generating electronic resistance system and the wireless heart rate compatibility but this technology adds a level of complexity to the bike which needs to must be high quality and work properly or the bike becomes totally inoperable.

If you would really like to have a magnetic resistance Indoor Cycle then the Schwinn AC models, such as the Schwinn AC Classic, are a better choice but they are commercial grad and are very expensive.

If the Diamondback 910IC is in the right price range for you, and you just want a solid bike, with nice features, for a good workout (and you don't need a magnetic resistance indoor cycle) then I would suggest the Livestrong LS9.9IC.

Overall, the design and features on the Diamondback 910IC are nice but there are some issues with quality control and customer service on Diamondback Fitness Bikes that you may want to review further before you make your decision.
