The New 2012 Schwinn 120 Upright gives you relief from the potential boredom of your fitness routine by including and iPod/MP3 player jack, holder and speakers.
The Schwinn 120 offers the latest fitness bike technology from Schwinn along with Schwinn quality and warranties and has many of the same features as the more expensive Schwinn 140 upright.
The quiet magnetic ECB resistance (Eddy current brake) system, Contact Heart Rate Monitors and compact size are just a few of the features that have always made this upright exercise bike popular. Now add the music player options and additional workout programs that come with this year's model to the list.
Upright Exercise Bikes, including the Schwinn 120, are more similar to traditional outdoor bikes, and give you an excellent low impact, aerobic workout for fitness training, overall health improvement or weight loss. Stationary bikes are also more compact and more affordable than other most home fitness equipment.

The comparison charts that some sites give you are actually very nice when you are comparing exercise bike models but they can get long and repetitive and it can sometimes be difficult to find what the important differences are so here is a summary of the major differences between the Schwinn 120 and the next model up, the Schwinn 140 Upright.
Since the Schwinn 120 has been upgraded for 2012, you get the iPod/Mp3 player jack, holder and speakers which the older model Schwinn 140 does not have.
The features that the Schwinn 140 includes (and the Schwinn 120 does not have) are the Multi-Color Backlit LCD console, Telemetry and Contact Heart Rate Monitors, more workout programs ~ including heart rate controlled (HRC) programs ~ and Schwinn Advantage™ performance tracking which is an easy way to set fitness goals and measure your progress right on the console.
About-Bicycles Review
The New 2012 Schwinn 120 Upright has some nice upgrades from last year's model and is still a solid, sturdy and very affordable fitness bike.
Schwinn makes it easy to move up their model lines to get more features at a progressively higher (but still very reasonable) price.
When you want the the Multi-Color Backlit LCD console, Telemetry and Contact Heart Rate Monitors, more workout programs and Schwinn Advantage™ performance tracking you should look at the Schwinn 140 Upright, which is usually priced about $50-$100 higher than the Schwinn 120.
