Schwinn 240 Recumbent Exercise Bike Review

The Schwinn 240 Recumbent is the mid-range recumbent stationary bike in the Schwinn product line. The Schwinn 240 offers all of the latest fitness technology from Schwinn along with Schwinn quality and warranties. The Schwinn 240 is built well and has more features than the Schwinn 220 for slightly higher price (usually about $100).

The quiet magnetic ECB resistance (Eddy current brake) system, Multi-Color Backlit LCD, telemetry and contact heart rate monitors are just a few of the features that make this recumbent bike an excellent choice at a great price.

Schwinn Recumbent Model Comparisons:

The Schwinn 240 Upright was the high-end model in the 2011 Schwinn product line and has been replaced by the newer Schwinn 250. The frame and quality of the 240 and 250 are very similar although the newer Schwinn 250 comes with more features. On the positive side you can now get the Schwinn 240 at a better price.
