Stamina 4545 Low Cost Recumbent Review

For a recumbent exercise bike with quiet magnetic resistance, easy to use controls, large, easy-to-read monitor, comfort and portability at a budget price check out the Stamina 4545 recumbent.

You will not get all of the features of the more fitness bikes and this bike may not last as long as the expensive models but you will still get the features that are standard on most stationary bikes and a very comfortable bike at an excellent price.

The Stamina 4545 gives you a good aerobic workout for a fraction of the cost of most other recumbent fitness bikes. Recumbent models are generally more expensive than upright models so dinding a recumbent for less than $300 can be difficult.

Fortunately you still get the lower handle bars on this bike (along with the straight bar at the top) which are typically used much more often then the upper handlebars. Most recumbent models will be more comfortable (than upright models) but the seat on this bike is not quite as nice as the seats found on the slightly more expensive mid-range models.

Although this is a very inexpensive stationary bike, I would only recommend this bike as a starter model (to find out if stationary bikes are really what you want and need) and only for limited use.

This bike often gets good reviews by customers but keep in mind that many of these reviews are written shortly after buying the bike and can reflect satisfaction with getting a fitness bike at an excellent price and before it is used for any length of time.
