Red Cedar trail is a place where you can lay down your bike, spread a blanket and enjoy the sunshine. A picnic basket will complement it further. Too bad wine and bicycling do not mix, but a cold bottle of spring water is just as good for these precious moments.

Picnic table are placed along Red Cedar Trail for your convenience. A great place to rest and converse with other bicyclists. Red Cedar trail offer places along it path where bicyclists can stop and picnic. The beauty of this particular rest stop must be seen in person to fully appreciate how special this trail really is.

Located in Downsville (about six miles south of the north trail head) is a small town with a museum and a wonderful Inn (Creamery Restaurant Inn) where bicyclists are welcome to stay and eat (a bit pricey though).

Don't you love it when you come across a long bridge. The Red Cedar trail has some of the longest bridges you will find in Wisconsin.
