Little Miami Scenic Trail Photos
Morrow to Corwin

This little converted railcar is in Morrow next to the bridge and river. I talked to the owner of this after I took the photo and he told me that this will be a restaurant or food stand soon, when it opens. He was hoping to open the following weekend.

This is the old railway bridge (now trail bridge) into and out of Morrow.

It's hard to see in the photo but there are board fences like the one in the foreground all down the trail in the distance. I am not totally sure about this, but I believe it is places where water passes under the trail (under bridges or just drains) to flow into the Little Miami River.

This photo shows a much longer board fence along the trail although a little hard to see once again since it is so wooded and with all the shadows.

OK, this is the REALLY TALL bridge that you pass under on the LMST. I was really impressed with the size of this thing. I knew that it would be difficult to try to capture the feel in a photo so I gave it my best "shot" with a vertical panoramic view. It's not as good as actually being there and seeing it but the best that I could do. The little strip at the bottom is the trail. This is the Jeremiah Morrow bridge and is for Interstate 71.

I rode past a number of canoe rental places like this one along the trail. It looks like canoe rentals are very popular here and could be a fun idea if you want to come to this area for a ride on the trail and on the river!

If you click on this photo for the larger view (and maybe even expand that) you can see that there is a chain swing bench here right next to the trail. I saw this on my ride south then couldn't resist checking it out for a short break on my way back. It was pretty nice as I thought it might be.
